Hey 🙋🏻♀️ Let's Sip the Wonders of Science
We often hear - females are no less than males. But this has been proved in an instance 8 centuries back by a woman who reached Antarctica and created history.
Women are excelling in almost every field. They are going to space. And so are they reaching the most isolated place on earth – Antarctica.
It was not known for many years, but fact remains as it is. The first person to set foot on Antarctica was a woman. Today in 1935, Caroline Mikkelsen, from Norway, became the first known woman to set foot on Antarctica. Mount Caroline Mikkelsen is named for her. This was no doubt, a great achievement.
