Resemble the face but it’s difficult to relate with the name. That was actual name of world famous film maker and actor Guru Dutt. He was actually ‘Guru of Indian Cinema’. He made films like Pyaasa, Kaagaz ke phool, Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam and Chauhdvi ka Chand. His films “Pyaasa” and “Kaagaz Ke Phool” have been included among the greatest films of all time, by Time magazine’s “All-TIME” 100 best movies.
Guru duty’s life story was just like this. He attempted suicide thrice and could not survive the third attempt. He died today in 1964. He was only 39 when he died. But in short span of 13 years in film industry, he did wonders.
