30 july : “Flowers and Trees” blossomed on Oscar platform

The first oscar winning Cartoon short film “Flowers and Trees” was released today in 1932. It was, off course, a Walt Disney creation. The film was made in black and white and later was tested for technicolour. It was the first commercially released film to be produced in the full-color three-strip Technicolor process after several years of two-color Technicolor films.

1932 में वॉल्ट डिज़्नी की फिल्म “Flowers & Trees” आज ही के दिन रिलीज़ हुई थी. इस फिल्म में Technicolor तकनीक का इस्तेमाल हुआ था और ये Oscar Award जीतने वाली पहली कार्टून शॉर्ट फिल्म थी. इस फिल्म को पहले black and white में तैयार किया गया था, लेकिन एक प्रयोग के तहत ये फिल्म नई “Technicolor” तकनीक को टेस्ट करने के लिए दी गई और ये प्रयोग बेहद कामयाब रहा.
